| OUR CORPORATE GIVING PROGRAM Structures Workshop, Inc has started a corporate giving program to support individuals, organizations and non-profit institutions engaged in work related to construction, architecture, and engineering (or more general art and science projects). If you have a project that is in need of some funding, please apply! It is simple, we are just trying to give away a few bucks - we know it is not much, but hopefully it can help realize a project. It must be a physical thing that is designed and built (not a research project). We will give $500 to projects that we want to support. In addition, or as an alternative, we can provide structural engineering support if applicable to the project. After the award, it is expected that we are informed about how the money was spent - but no big deal. Also, it would be great if we could give the check in person and meet you. This is your money and your project (we have no stake, and no marketing is expected). We are simply just trying to help with a donation. Scroll to the bottom of this page to apply! |

Massachusetts college of Art and Design students are building an outdoor classroom for the Haley school,a Boston public elementary
school. The outdoor classroom provides a shaded space with seating.
2011 - Custom Bike Rack for VG Elementary School
Donation Type: $500 Grant
We donated to a local elementary school our Jan 2011 grant for a custom steel bike rack. The pipe for the bike rack is bent/curved in
the shape of the letters ABC. This will be fabricated by the Steel Yard in Providence, RI.
2011 - Rhode Island Museum of Science and Art (www.rimosa.org)
Donation Type: $500 Grant
We donated to RI-MOSA so they can construct two hands-on, interactive exhibits for the Rhode Island Museum of Science and Art, a 501-
c-3 organization dedicated to igniting curiosity and encouraging innovation. Both exhibits make use of air and water, but in very different
ways.

The two 20' shipping container units have cantilevered arms and osolated footings that support a fabric canopy. The prototype has
been deployed to Haiti.
