We at Structures Workshop use BIM exclusively and develop training
manuals and consulting services related to Revit 2010. We actively
collaborate with our clients and other design professionals to effectively
use the interoperability features of BIM.
In March 2009, we finished editing the Autodesk Official Training Guide -
Revit 2010 Essentials.
In Dec 2008, we published "BIM and the Structural Engineering
Community" in Structure Magazine.
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a very effective design and
coordination tool. The 3D, parametric capabilities offered by BIM allow the
team to better understand and communicate the design resulting in better
coordinated and more economical building.
OUR REVIT 2010 TRAINING AND CONSULTING SERVICES INCLUDE...
Initial consultation to review the software as it relates to your firms
requirements and needs, as well as determine an effective
implementation plan.
Beginner session covering the fundamentals of Revit Structure. This 3 to 4
day session is designed to give participants a solid understanding of the
tools and methodologies necessary to effectively work on projects in Revit.
(4 day sample)
Advanced session covering advanced modeling topics, as well as
creating and customizing Revit content.
Mentoring sessions where we work alongside your design team on an as
needed basis in order to get a specific project started and successfully
completed in Revit.
Modeling Services to build a 3-d Revit model based on your 2-d
documents and/or CAD files.
