Structures Workshop, Inc.

Structures Workshop is a full-service structural engineering firm located in Providence,
Rhode Island. We are structural engineers who believe that collaboration with
like-minded building professionals is the key to improving the quality of built world. We
are engineers but really designers first. We are idealists that love investigation for the
pursuit of truth. We do not stop at preconceived notions of constructibility and economy,
but investigate novel and innovative ways of reducing cost and increasing efficiency,
boldness and elegance. This is evident in the hundreds of successfully built projects we
have designed.

Our strong relationships with contractors, fabricators, and engineers allow us to provide
better design services to the architect. Our design experience help us design and build
economical, efficient, and beautiful structures. This is why we exist - to do quality work
and enjoy the doing.

We are licensed in RI, MA, CT, NY, IL, ME, DC and NH and can get additional states with
ease through NCEES. Structures Workshop, Inc is committed to projects using Building
Information Modeling and Integrated Project Delivery. See Project Map. We have fully
adopted the Revit BIM platform and actively collaborate with our clients and other design
professionals to effectively use the interoperability features of BIM.
