DESCRIPTION
We completed construction documents for Wire Works
Museum and Visitors Center in Worcester, MA. Our
BIM-Revit models are shown on the left. An existing
masonry factory building was sliced with four new slender
glass and steel volumes to provide public space and
natural lighting.
We invented the "extended king-post truss" for this project
to provide both a lateral system and keep the roof thickness
slender at only eight inches deep.
